January Club Meeting01/13/2012 UPCOMING 25 Jan 2012 TGMS Regular Meeting Candice Poole, our Program Chairperson, reports that Jani Radebaugh, BYU Professor from the Department of Geological Sciences will be speaking on Meteorites at our January 25, 2012 TGMS Regular meeting. Our meeting, which is held at the Eldred Center at 7:00 p.m. provides educational programs, A Silent Auction where members can purchase rough rocks, some slabs and cabochons and other good quality rocks. Also at our meetings, Door prizes are drawn by those attending the meeting, Field trips are discussed, and information about the March 16, 17 & 18, 2012 show will be shared. The Jr Club had a Blast with their volcano exhibit and some lucky folks were able to find some nice crystals in the bags of sand they purchased!    |
